Source/proof crosswalk: Quantum Algorithms for Triangle Cut Sparsification

This static candidate maps the active ICML 2026 challenge claims for OpenReview u4klflLAX3 to theorem and section anchors in arXiv 2606.06287v1. Its evidence tier is source/proof crosswalk only. It records what the submitted source states; it does not report an empirical reproduction, proof verification, author-code result, or independent execution.

The active claim set is resolved as {**claims.json, **claims_anchored.json}: anchored entries overwrite legacy entries. Both feeds were fetched at challenge revision 7b5b56aebf3abe590eab9f2c241a796125cab928; their separate content pins and SHA-256 digests are in evidence/provenance.json.

Start with the claim crosswalk. The public package contains original metadata and bounded crosswalk prose only; it does not contain the paper source, a source checkout, an executable payload, credentials, or a virtual environment.

Run python3 scripts/verify.py . before release. The verifier also has meaningful negative checks: python3 scripts/verify.py . --self-test mutates temporary copies to confirm that a missing required tag and a bad manifest hash are rejected.
